Product Donations

Can Opill® be donated to an organization for its patients/community?

Qualified non-profit organizations may be eligible to receive an in-kind donation of Opill®. Please read the organization qualification section below to learn more.

Is my organization qualified to apply for an Opill® donation?

Organizations that meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for an in-kind donation of Opill®:

  • A 5013C, 304B, or Title X organization, or similar organization
  • Must have a program in place to provide product directly to individuals in need of reproductive health services

Certain exceptions may apply for organizations without non-profit status but have a program to support reproductive health services to its community. Contact donations@opill.com to inquire if your organization may qualify.


Product Donation is not available for:

  • Organizations that directly influence or advance our company’s business, including purchase, utilization, prescribing, formulary position, pricing, reimbursement, referral, or recommendation of or payment for its products
  • Political organizations or campaigns
  • Fraternal or labor organizations

How do I apply for donation of Opill®? Can I request a specific amount or pack size(s)/SKU’s?

Organizations that wish to apply for an in-kind donation of Opill® may do so by completing an application. Applications are reviewed quarterly. Specific pack size(s)/SKU’s and quantities may be requested based on available inventory listed on the application, but cannot be guaranteed.

Can I apply for a specific amount or pack size(s)/SKU’s?

Organizations may request 1-month or 3-month packs, as well as specific quantities of each. However, desired pack sizes/SKUS and quantities cannot be guaranteed as donated product size(s)/SKU’s and quantity may vary based on availability at the time of application approval.

How soon will I know if my application for Opill® donation is approved?

Applications are reviewed quarterly. Application acceptance dates and corresponding review dates follow the below schedule but are subject to change without notice.

  • Applications received between November 1 – January 31 will be reviewed in February.
  • Applications received between February 1 – April 30 will be reviewed in May.
  • Applications received between May 1 – July 31 will be reviewed in August.
  • Applications received between August 1 – October 31 will be reviewed in November.

Product donations are typically shipped within 30 business days of an approved donation.


How will I be notified if my application has been approved or denied?

Notification of approval or denial will be sent via email no later than the first week of the month following the application review. Notification timing will follow the below schedule and are subject to change without notice.

  • Applications reviewed in February: notification no later than first week of March
  • Applications reviewed in May: notification no later than first week of June
  • Applications reviewed in August: notification no later than first week of September
  • Applications reviewed in November: notification no later than first week of December

Product donations are typically shipped within 30 business days of an approved donation.


How many packs / or what pack size(s) of Opill® will an organization receive as a donation?

1-month and 3-month packs of Opill® are typically available for in-kind donation. Pack sizes/SKUS and quantities provided may vary based on availability at the time of application approval.

If approved, how quickly can my organization receive its donation of Opill®?

Once approved, in-kind donations of Opill® are typically shipped within 30 days after an application approval. Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis.


The number of in-kind donations of Opill® an individual organization receives may be limited on an annual basis. SKUs and quantities may vary.


I would like a donation of Opill® for for myself, a friend, or a family member.

Please visit the Donation Locator page to see if there is an organization near you that has received an Opill® donation and may be able to support you directly. Alternatively, there may be a local health clinic such as Planned Parenthood that has Opill® available for you to pick up at low or no cost. You may even connect with Planned Parenthood virtually to discuss the best option for your individual need.

Opill for Healthcare Clinics

I am part of a non-profit health clinic that provides contraceptive options for low-income patients. Can I order Opill® at low or no cost for our clients?
