When can I start taking Opill®?
You can start your first pack any day that works for you – no need to wait. But here’s the deal: for Opill to be effective, you need to take one pill every day at the same time – and no more than 3 hours later than the time you took it the day before. What are the most common side effects with Opill®?

The most common side effects with Opill are changes in your bleeding pattern – and that’s normal. Your period might show up more often, less often, be lighter, shorter, or longer than usual. Some people get spotting between periods, and others might stop getting their period altogether while on Opill. All of that is okay.


Less common side effects can include things like headaches, dizziness, nausea, increased appetite, cramps, bloating, or abdominal pain. Most of these are mild and tend to go away on their own. *
